Part 5 - Israel In Crisis
Since her rebirth in 1948, Israel has struggled to survive as a Jewish homeland in an extremely hostile neighborhood. Israel is a lonely democracy, surrounded by nations governed by dictators, who threaten her peace and security.
Wars and rumors of wars have been Israel's consistent diet for more than 60 years, since her miraculous rebirth among the nations of the earth. And between the wars, is the incessant threat of terror attacks, as suicide bombers stalk the streets, making every public bus or gathering place a target for destruction.
Yet, somehow Israel has continued to survive and thrive.
The danger today is that weapons are becoming more sophisticated and rockets from Gaza are reaching deeper into Israel than ever before. If Israel's return to her biblical homeland is a sign of the late prophetic hour in which we live, could these ever increasing threats be a sign that the final countdown to Armageddon has begun?
